Photographe ayant débuté en 1999 par la photographie de spectacles, Marc-Antoine a fait le passage au numérique en 2008. C’est à travers son immersion dans le monde des communications qu’il s’est intéressé à la photographie commerciale et éditoriale. Depuis lors, il a élargi son champ de compétences pour inclure la photographie publicitaire, le portrait, la photographie d’art et même la mode.
Surnommé Marcographie par ses amis, il s’est spécialisé dans un style particulier, capable de reproduire des photographies qui ressemblent à des tableaux de la Renaissance italienne, mettant en valeur l’individu, sa réussite personnelle, sa richesse et son pouvoir. Son travail est fortement influencé par l’art de la Renaissance et du baroque italien, en raison de son bagage en histoire de l’art.
Il utilise un Canon EOS 5D Mark III et ses objectifs préférés sont les EF 85mm f/1.2L USM et EF 200mm f/2.8L USM.
Outre sa passion pour la photographie, Marc-Antoine est également musicien. Il participe à divers projets de rock & roll, country, blues, et parfois même de musique progressive, en utilisant sa guitare et sa voix. Il a également fait son chemin en tant que musicien et danseur au sein de la communauté Swing de Québec. En tant que photographe, il a capturé de nombreux portraits saisissants lors d’événements de swing et a réalisé des affiches pour des événements québécois tels que Followlogie et Swing sur la route.

« Photographer who started in 1999 with concert photography, it was in 2008 that Marc-Antoine made the transition to digital. It was during his involvement in the world of communications that he became interested in commercial and editorial photography. Since then, he has expanded his expertise to include advertising photography, as well as portrait, fine art, and even fashion photography.
Known as Marcographie among his friends, he specializes in a rather unique genre. With his talent, he is able to reproduce photos resembling Italian Renaissance paintings, showcasing the individual and their personal success, wealth, and power. His work is heavily influenced by Renaissance and Italian Baroque art, due to his background in art history.
He uses a Canon EOS 5D Mark III camera. His preferred lenses are the EF 85mm f/1.2L USM and EF 200mm f/2.8L USM. Marc-Antoine is also a musician involved in various rock & roll, country, and blues projects, and occasionally even progressive music, showcasing his guitar and vocals. He has also made a name for himself as a musician and dancer in the Quebec Swing community. As a photographer, he has captured many striking portraits in the heat of swing events and created posters for Quebec events such as Followlogie and Swing sur la route.
