On peut dire d’Eric Lavergne qu’il est tombé très jeune dans la potion magique, son père, chanteur d’opéra de formation, sa mère issue d’une famille de 16 frères et sœurs avec lesquels ils forment une chorale.

La musique prend une place plus importante dans sa vie autour de 2005 lorsqu’il découvre le guitariste Django Reinhardt. À partir de ce moment, il consacre tout son temps libre à l’apprentissage de ce style musical.

Très vite il fait résidence pour les 5 à 7 du mercredi au Dièse Onze, bar jazz situé à Montréal.

You could say that Eric Lavergne fell into the magic potion at a very young age. His father was a classically trained opera singer, while his mother came from a family of 16 siblings, with whom they formed a choir.

Music began to take on an even more important place in his life around 2005, when he discovered guitarist Django Reinhardt. From that moment on, he devoted all of his free time to learning and exploring this musical style.

It wasn’t long before he became a regular fixture at the Wednesday happy-hour sessions at Dièse Onze, a jazz bar in Montreal.
